It is said that, "the ghost of a little old lady called Betty haunts the rear of the bar." There are no further details, however.

Update 9/1/24: Sarah Liddle replied to my query about any recent occurrences: "Yes many of my staff past & present have felt & seen strange things/visions/beings." When asked for more details she replied that the things that had been seen consisted of "An old lady-previous landlady-mary plus an old fisherman."
