Godolphin House

The ghost is that of Margaret Godolphin, who died from an infection of the womb at the age of 25 and is said to walk along a path between the chapel and the house. The sound of her silk dress swishing has also been reported. Margaret appeared to a three year old who gave her a hug, then retired blowing the child a kiss before vanishing. The ghost passed through a wall that was later discovered to conceal a hidden door; some say the phantom climbs out of a closet and walks in the direction of the chapel. A phantom funeral procession has also been seen walking past the house.
