The Railway Inn

A mischievous female ghost emerges from a shaft to the old mine and enters the pub. She is said to be Dorcas, whose husband (it is said) perished in a mining accident and threw herself down the shaft in despair. CAMRA adds the detail that the ghost "swings one of the miner's lamps."
