Who'd Have Thought It Inn

A 1989 document states that this inn was Sir Francis Drake's local. There are two ghosts here, "Old Abe" and "the Sad Faced Cavalier." The second of these phantoms is described as having "chestnut hair falling to his shoulders and dressed in a wine coloured top coat" and has been seen sitting on the end of a bed. The service bell in the bar has been heard to ring, but when staff attend to it, the bell pull is still swinging but there is no-one there.
