Coffin Wood

A procession of shadowy figures following a horse with a shrouded body slung over it harkens back to the days of a funeral cortege; it is in this location that the body would be transferred to a coffin before continuing to Lydford church. Mumbling and the lights of lanterns have also been reported too on "dark stormy nights."
