Footsteps and running have been heard upstairs, and the sounds of children heard - and the owner reports her papers being rifled through and things going missing - until she asks for them back; and her pet cat reacts to something invisible. It is thought that the children were killed when gunpowder was being dried, resulting in an explosion.
