A female spectre, wearing a maid's uniform but having a misty appearance is said to haunt the flat above the pub and in the bar; she has been given the nickname "Charlie." Other phenomena, including cold sensations, have occurred here too.

Update 20/1/22: The pub responded to my Facebook query about any recent phenomena: "Yes there has been some talk of ghostly goings on at the pub ... It was something about a lady being stood at the end of the bed of the previous managers son’s bedroom."
