The Globe Inn9 High Street, Chagford, Devon TQ13 8AJ 01647 433485 A 17th (or 14th!) century chambermaid haunts this inn; she is supposed to have been drowned after being accused of being a witch and undergoing trial by water. She is said to be seen on the upper floors. Update 2/2/22: I emailed the hotel asking about any recent phenomena and Graham replied, "Sorry Paul, Nothing fresh to report." |
