Castle Inn

The function room, named The Stable Bar, is said to be the haunt of "the Stable Boy," who leaves 5p pieces on the floor. You are supposed to get bad luck if you don't say thank you when you pick it up. The current owners took down a bathroom light last year (2024) for the first time in all their years at the pub and inside was a year old old 5p.
