Antelope Walk

The entrance to the Antelope Walk used to be the Antelope Inn, where Judge Jeffreys held court and ordered the execution of everyone brought before him, having their heads placed on spikes round the church as a warning. Jeffrey's ghost has been seen in the Walk, in the area between his house and the court room (the Oak Room of the former Antelope Hotel, which was the entrance to the Walk).
