Cold spots have been experienced in the jury enclosure and witness box, as have the sound of footsteps and breathing. Strange lights have been seen and a door to the air-raid shelter opens by itself. Also in the courtroom area, mens voices have been heard and keys jangling in the holding area also heard. An old man in the cell area has also been observed, opening and closing doors.
Update 7/9/20: David Goulden, the Duty Manager/Paranormal Coordinator informed me, "Shire Hall is little written about and is a vastly under researched location. It also doesn't have a Haunted heritage or if you like. Or a 'well known ghost' that it actively trades off of. Visitors and staff do seem to report a number of sensory experiences. A sense of something being there and maybe observing from the shadows. That's about it really."
