When the premises was occupied by former owners, there were a number of phenomena reported. On the first floor, there had been reports of loud noises, like furniture being moved; this usually happened first thing in the morning. Displays fell to the floor for no reason, and doors and drawers opened and closed by themselves. On one occasion, a staff member heard banging, footsteps and laughing from the first floor, above her. The police were called but no intruders were found. The police dog refused to go into the front area upstairs, though. Whether these phenomena persist in the building's new guise is not known at present.

Update May 18th 2025: Researcher Greg Hardman informed me that two members of staff haven't noticed anything happen in the last 3 years since they opened.
