A member of the UK Haunted Hotels page on Facebook remarked that, "I used to work next door [to the Bull Hotel in Bridport] in the veg shop and twice saw a small boy looking like he was from the film Oliver walk from chancery lane alleyway and through back of shop into what is now the kitchen." A query to the proprietor of the shop on Facebook yielded the following reply; "unfortunately I haven't seen anything 'ghostly' we have owned it for 5 years and I previously worked there back in 2014 - 2016 and I didn't see anything unusual then." The vegetable shop (Bridget's Market) has now closed and the building is now occupied by a charity; it isn't known if anything has been encountered in the new premise's new guise.
