Corsica Hall

aka "The Lodge"
College Road, Seaford, East Sussex BN25 1JX

Originally called "The Lodge," the building was moved brick-by-brick from Wellingham near Lewes to Seaford, and it was in the former location that Lord Napier's son accidentally shot dead his tutor, Rev. Lowden. The ghost of the boy, who never got over the guilt, is said to have moved with the house. Even when the old house was demolished and a new one (named "Millburgh") built in its place, the haunting is still said to have continued but it is not known how recent the sighting are. The building is now called Corsica Hall again.
