When this was a branch of Budgens, items, such as cages used to transport stock to shelves, would move by themselves, and people would hear the sound of chopping wood and felt the sensation of being tapped on the shoulder. There is an even a report of "strange screams" being heard, and talk of shadows moving around in the storage room, and disembodied legs going up the stairs.
