Badbury Rings

These Iron Age earthwork defences were besieged by the Romans, and it is from their era that the ghosts originate. As well as "shadowy figures" armed with spears and shields from that period being seen, aggressive shouting, the tramp of feet and the sounds of weapons clashing have also been heard.
