Horse and Groom

The ghost of James Coles ("Jimmy") apparently haunts this pub; it is not clear if he has been seen, but pipe smoke has been seen and smelt coming from the corner he used to frequent. He was murdered after he was confronted here by a man whose wife he was having an affair with. The ghost of the husband has been seen in the Royal Victoria Hotel, where he found out about the couple's fling.
