The Lord Nelson

In 1812, fisherman Joseph Swaine was killed by a customs guard who thought he was a smuggler. He was shot nearby and his phantom has been seen in the pub, described as young and slightly scruffy and wearing a strange hat and a fishing tunic, and has been seen walking through the back wall. When he appears there is a drop in temperature and an unidentifiable smell.

Update 8/9/20: Jack, a worker at the pub replied to my email; "Absolutely, there’s always strange things happening... The gas for the beer lines would quite often be turned off inexplicably. One of our staff members says she has seen a woman by the front doors looking through. It's quite often been said that customers/staff have heard a woman in the toilet crying. My son (who is autistic and hates doors being closed) would insist on his bedroom door being closed all the time on the landing upstairs in the accommodation area. When we moved out he instantly asked his door be left open. My wife said she felt like someone was watching her from the same area when she was painting the hallway. Once when I was behind the bar someone knocked on the partition wall that separates the front and back bar and I walked around thinking a customer was being funny and there was nobody there. An ex-staff member looked really shocked and told me the same thing had happened to her when I told her about it later on randomly. So on and so forth. "
