The Stag Inn

A phantom sea captain, usually seen around Christmas time, has been seen here, wearing deep purple velvet robes and a hat with a feather in it. He walks through the fireplace to the location of secret caves if anyone tries to interact with him. The ghost is thought to be a victim of the Chopback smugglers who would lure ships into harbour and then ransack them, murdering the crew in the process.

Update 14/9/20: Nic, the landlord (?) replied to my email saying, "We are a very old pub and there are many stories of hauntings and ghosts but I have to say, we've not had anything happen over the past few years so I'm not sure we can be of much help"
