A skittle-playing spook is in residence here! ...or it could be plural, as one local said, "I've heard them in the kitchen - that's where most of it all happens. It used to be a schoolhouse out the back there, and you can hear the children playing skittles." There is also a claim that a playful spirit pours pints after closing. Some claim as many as 42 ghosts in this pub!
