The Angel Inn

A maid has been seen in the corner of a room, tidying up; she has also been seen coming down the staircase but vanishes at a certain point. An old lady has also been seen in the bar area. The legend is that the maid became friendly with the old lady and they had planned to go into town, but the maid, in a hurry to finish her chores, tripped down the stairs and died. Her friend died a few days later of a broken heart.
