Ockenden Manor

Many years ago, so it is said, a young girl was forbidden from seeing her loved one and used the alleged tunnels to the nearby Kings Head for her illicit liaisons. However, one day the tunnels collapsed and her body was found in the debris. The "Grey Lady" seen here in the "Elizabeth" bedroom is said to be the girl. Her ghost was also observed by a night porter opening and closing bedroom doors.
