It is said that the ghost is a girl who hanged herself here after being jilted on her wedding day.

Update 8/2/22 The hotel responded to my query for any recent phenomena: " Since taking over since 2017 we have not witnessed any inexplicable phenomena here!" On 11/1/24 the hotel confirmed the above statement; "we are aware of the major history within our pub including the smugglers and Dr Syn but even due to this there is nothing to report of any supernatural experiences especially nothing that would stand out majorly."
