Bayham Abbey

The ghosts of the ruined Abbey are monks in white habits, of the Augustinian sect. There are about a dozen, processing along the cloisters in pairs to the site of the altar before vanishing (chanting in Latin as dusk falls according to some stories). Additionally, the smell of incense is also reported as is the faint sound of a choir singing and bell ringing.
