Bear and Ragged Staff

A lady in grey apparently haunts this pub and would alarm ladies using their toilets; one patron ran screaming from the pub after such an encounter. The landlord at the time (c.1978) had even seen the ghost standing at the foot of his bed. He would angrily tell her to go away. There had also been incidents of items being thrown around the bar.
