Leeds Castle

A rarely seen female phantom is said to be the Duchess of Gloucester, who took up witchcraft after her husband died. She was imprisoned in the castle but her connection to Henry VI saved her from execution. Another female phantom, said to always be seen brushing her hair, has been seen in the grounds and in The Queen's Room.
