A ghost is said to walk the third floor and in late 2022, the general manager from 1989-95 told a paper that he had had "numerous encounters" with ghosts here, including a lady wearing ruffles walking in the building and grounds; often he would find her standing next to him and the room would go cold. Cleaners would also see her sitting on beds whilst they cleaned the rooms, and they spoke of taps coming on by themselves.
