White Hart Inn

A cold sensation precedes the appearance of a cellar boy who was crushed when forty bodies were dumped into the cellar during the Civil War. That location used to act as a mortuary to the church of St Mary which used to stand on the site and according to information provided by the Shepherd Neame brewery, “Employees have heard moaning and seen odd black shapes … Other witnesses have reported seeing men and women wearing Victorian-style clothing and grey shrouds.”
