Allington Castle

The ghost of a maid who drowned her illegitimate child in the moat and was then hanged has been seen here. She is said to have been seen in the area of Solomon's Tower and the garden of the King's Tower; it is said much of the activity has faded away but footsteps on the staircase are still heard.
