When this store operated under the Moss Chemists brand c.1995/6, a bell alerted an employee to a new visitor to the store; she was an old lady wearing a trench coat, soaking wet (despite it being dry outside) and carrying shopping bags. But when the worker went to attend to her, there was no-one there; she had been seen near a doorway that used to lead upstairs. The pharmacist said that he had been called out at night because the alarms had been activated, though there was no sign of a break-in, although a stool had been moved from the back room into the shop.
