Dode Churchyard

It is said that during the height of the Black Death, the villagers sheltered in the church in the hope that they would be rescued; sadly none survived, the last one to perish being a seven year old girl. She is said to haunt the churchyard but sightings are reportedly scarce. Local legend said that she would appear on the first Sunday morning of every month. The village was abandoned after the plague, and the church is all that remains.
