Wiltshire Museum

Although the museum prefers not to publicise the hauntings, previous staff talk of an old woman in a straw hat, seen on the lower floors; she is said to be Maud Cunnington, who was an archaeologist and the only woman to be elected Chairman of the Wiltshire Archaeology and Natural History Society, which runs the museum. The desk that was used to write up digs is the focus of spectral behaviour.
