In a bedchamber said to have been used by Charles II, a man has been seen walking from the direction of the bed and then through a wall. A maid is said to run from the house, slamming the door and heading towards the open space opposite, known as The Vines. Legend suggests that although she may or not be a maid, she was made pregnant by the owner of the house - another legend is that she is seen clasping a baby and with a noose around her neck. Some say she is nun! A Benedictine Monk has also been seen to emerge from a fireplace, glide around the house and then return to its original spot. Unfortunately no ghost stories have been reported recently, and many of the reports date back many years.
Update 7/8/20: When asked if anything had been experienced recently, Robert Tucker (the owner), replied "No nothing!"
