Walton Manor House
aka "Old Manor House"
Manor Road, Walton-on-Thames, Surrey KT12 2PL
The spectre of an old man in black clothes has been seen here, believed to be lawyer John Bradshaw who lived here in the 17th century. He presided over the trial of King Charles I; and when he died the restored monarchy had his remains desecrated - they were eventually rescued by his son and reinterred in Jamaica.
