Rochester Cathedral

The graveyard of the Cathedral is haunted by former Rochester resident author Charles Dickens. Before his death he requested to be interned at the Cathedral but his wishes were not carried out and he was buried in Westminster Abbey. He is reputed to be walking around the graves looking for his burial site. Footsteps have been heard coming from an otherwise empty kitchen.
