The Vestry Hall

A "strange presence" has been sensed in many areas, such as the basement. The ghost is said to be a past caretaker who lived in the hall. His quarters, where he died, were at the northern end of the building on the 3rd and 4th floor. A worker at the hall would find strange instances when he arrived first thing in the morning; these comprise hearing doors opening (the building was empty), and the lift being on the 1st floor even though it had been left on the ground floor at the end of the previous day.
