Llandoger TrowKing Street, Bristol BS1 4ER Fortean Researcher Stu Neville informs me, based on his notes that he made many years ago, "there are two consistent [ghosts]; the child, nicknamed Pierre (possibly a corruption of 'Pero' a celebrated slave who has a bridge a few hundred yards away named after him). The ghost is apparently crippled with a leg brace, and limping footsteps have been reported for decades, with occasional sightings of a small figure on staircases etc (it's a big old rambling building). The other is of a young woman, possibly a maid. There have been various polt-like things (pictures ripped from the wall, stuff strewn about in the cellar) but recent reports are few and far between." However, there have been recent amplifications of the number of claims to include 15 spectres here! Update: 25/5/25 Researcher Greg Hardman visited the establishment and spoke to a barmaid named Lucy. She spoke of strange sounds and lights flickering. One night there was some music playing and she asked it stop - and it did!" |
