The ghost of Florence Nightingale, where she worked when alive, has been seen in the corridors. She enters wards, looks around, and leaves again. Another female phantom - perhaps the same one? - has been given the name "The Grey Lady". She is sometimes mistake for a living person - until she vanishes, but some say that her legs are only seen from the knees upwards. One report says that she appears mostly to patients who are close to dying.
