The Grenadier

Ghost sightings seem to reach their peak in September; and it is thought that in that month, a young officer was caught cheating at a game of cards and his fellow officers beat him so severely that he died. There are reports of dogs being agitated, black shadows, anomalous faces, mysterious vapours, footsteps, cold spots and other poltergeist-like activity. In the cellar, there are stories of strange smells and staff being pushed.
