Holland House

Although the building was mostly destroyed in the 1940 Blitz, the headless Lord Henry Rich, Earl of Holland has been seen in the Gilt Room, through which he traverses holding his head in his hands having emerged from a hidden doorway at midnight. He is rarely seen outside. He was beheaded as a traitor in 1649.
