The Catherine Wheel

The ghost here is said to be Mary Blandy, who haunts a few other venues in the vicinity. Mary was coerced into poisoning her father by her lover Captain Cranstoun; her father did not approve of their relationship especially since Cranstoun was already married but Mary was told that the "love potion" would change his mind. When her father died, Mary tried to escape but was arrested and hanged, her lover fleeing to France.
