The Colonel Fawcett

CAMRA's website says that, "[This] Site of one of the last fatal duels in England in 1873: the victim, Col Fawcett, is said to appear as a ghost."

Update 2/4/26: Ross, a worker/owner (?) of the pub told me via email that "Legend is that The Colonel Fawcett died in the pub. When re-opening the pub 15 years ago we felt a presence (things going missing etc) but nothing of note since!"
