The Golden Lion

According to the Greene King website, there are said to be 23 ghosts here but only one is detailed - "The White Lady", said to be a lady who celebrated her wedding reception here in the 1890s, but was murdered in nearby Harold Hill. A local historian describes the ghosts here as "nice"!

Update 14/2/23: Pub worker Natalie replied to my question about any recent occurrences: "...there hasn't been an awful lot to report. We do experience the odd noise or objects being moved, but nothing really worth reporting. The staff all feel quite comfortable and I live on site and never hear any bumps in the night."
