Barrels have been hearding moving by themselves in the cellar, while in the bar, wine glasses have been knocked from the shelves. A staff member sleeping in room 5 was awoken by water being thrown at her!

Update 21/2/20: The publicans Mark and Jayne got in touch via Facebook to tell me, "about 2 years ago a heating engineer was up in the attic and came down at speed saying he had seen something up there and would not go back up. He was very pale but would not elaborate. However, in the seven years we have been here neither Mark nor myself have seen or felt anything odd." On 16/1/24, Jayne replied to my follow-up query about recent phenomena; "we have not experienced anything ourselves ... Sorry we can't be of more help to you, it would be nice in these difficult times to have something happen!"
