This house was once the domain of Augustinian Monks until Henry VIII confiscated the property. It is said that chanting can sometimes be heard, and the "shadowy figure" of a cowled man has been seen in the building. There are also stories of a "White Lady" and visitors sometimes feel "a light touch on their skin."
