Rycote Chapel

One of the ghosts haunting this chapel is that of a female relative of the owner, Lord Williams, who perished in a fire in the 18th century. She has been seen gliding through the pews and crossing the chapel, where she then disappears through a blocked doorway which once led to the living quarters of the main palace house. Another sighting outside the chapel of a grey lady has led some to believe that there are two phantoms in the chapel.
