The Angel Hotel

Cavaliers are said to knock on the doors here, and poltergeist-like activity has been reported too, including glasses falling and smashing and showers turning on by themselves - and one guest said that someone got into bed with them, which prompted a speedy departure in the middle of the night! A baby is often heard crying here, too and there are also stories of the sound of girls giggling, music playing and people running in the corridors. In the kitchen, a mischievous ghost nicknamed "Fred" plays with the phone and other items and whispers in the ears of staff; he is said to have been seen "most days" but out of the corner of the eye only. Phenomena here is said to be "so bad" that lights were left on for the cleaners to prevent them getting frightened.

Update 1/7/22: The hotel responded to my request for information whether there had been any recent phenomena: "No sorry"
