When this was Hertfordshire Graphics Ltd, staff would hear a voice saying that its name was George and one person who saw him described him as an old man in long raincoat; tools and other items would go missing, keys would move around and a staff member who worked late in the building on this own heard footsteps ascend the stairs, stopping outside his office. Frustrated staff would ask for their stamps to be returned and "George" obliged - even returning an extra set on one occasion! It is not known if George is still active, but he was reported by the next occupants of this property (Harwood Homes Interiors) after the graphics company moved out.
