Guessens Court

An old farmhouse once occupied this site, and according to a local tale, it was burnt down by the wife of the owner, a knight, when she found out that he had been seeing his mistress here. It is reputed that he decapitated his spouse but was granted a royal pardon due to his services to the country. The wife has been seen in the area of the old farmhouse.
