The Malt Maker Statue

Positioned on the site of the old lock-up, the ghost of Molly Fitzroy has been seen here and in nearby St Mary's church graveyard (where she is buried in an unmarked grave). Fitzroy was a highwaywoman and one of the reasons why her phantom has been said to appear is to corner the man who jilted her!
